Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Abdelrahman Yehia Ibrahim Mahmoud ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use 3marty. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in line with Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020).

1. Data we collect

Account data: your name, phone number, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text), your role (owner or resident), and your building/apartment.

Payment records: the amount, the mobile number you transferred from, an optional reference number, and any payment screenshot you choose to upload.

Content you create: invoices, complaints and their attachments, comments, and announcements.

Technical data: a device notification token (if you enable push notifications) and basic logs needed for security and reliability.

We do not collect card or bank-account credentials, your location, your contacts, or biometric data.

2. How we use your data

We use your data to: create and secure your account; show invoices and payments; let owners verify or correct payments; send notifications and emails you ask for; operate building features such as complaints and announcements; prevent fraud and abuse; and comply with the law.

3. Legal basis

We process your data based on your consent and on the need to provide the Service you request, consistent with Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account or contacting us.

4. Service providers we share with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers that help us run the Service, who process it on our behalf:

• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging - to deliver push notifications.
• Brevo - to send emails, including verification and password-reset codes.
• Our hosting provider (our own cloud server) - to run the app’s servers and database, and to store the files you upload, such as payment screenshots and attachments.

These providers may process data on servers outside Egypt. We share only what is needed for each service to function.

5. Payment data

Transfers happen outside 3marty, through the payment provider itself. We only store the reference, the mobile number, and the screenshot you provide so an owner can verify a payment. We are not a payment processor and never see your banking credentials.

6. How long we keep data

We keep your data while your account is active. If you request deletion, we erase your personal data within 30 days. Financial records for your building — including your name on invoices and payments — are retained by your building owner for their own bookkeeping after your account is deleted.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent. You can edit your profile in the app, or contact us to exercise any of these rights.

8. Deleting your account

Residents can delete their account and personal data directly in the app from Settings → Delete account. Because an owner account manages a building and its residents, owner deletions are handled manually: email us at abdelrahman.yehia.ibrahim@gmail.com and we will erase your data within 30 days.

9. Security

We protect your data with measures such as password hashing, encrypted connections, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

10. Children

3marty is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will revise the "last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.

12. Contact

For any privacy question or request, email us at abdelrahman.yehia.ibrahim@gmail.com.
